Nahian Reza Sabriet

Nahian Reza Sabriet works as a research officer at the Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies. He has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in International Relations from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and is currently pursuing his second master’s at Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. Sabriet has worked as a data analyst for the Bangladesh Peace Observatory, Centre for Genocide Studies, hosted by University of Dhaka and the United Nations Development Programme. He has been part of projects by several organizations in the field of international relations, including the International Labour Organization; the South Asian Network on Economic Modeling; the World Bank; Konrad Adenauer Stiftung’s Regional Programme Political Dialogue – Asia, Singapore; Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung; and the United States Agency for International Development. His areas of interest are human security, homeland security, and cybersecurity, on which he has authored or co-authored several national and international publications. He tweets at @nahiansays.
