The compendium “Future-Proofing U.S. Technology: Strategic Priorities Amid Chinese Tech Advancement” covers topics including AI innovation and regulation, cryptocurrency, alternative payment methods, cybersecurity, and critical mineral supply-chain sustainability.   

Former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff will give opening remarks; and compendium authors and industry experts will participate in a panel discussion highlighting the immediate opportunities related to tech innovation and regulation in which the United States can engage, and the associated risks. With the launch of this body of work, New Lines Institute seeks to start an action-oriented conversation with policymakers, industry leaders and academics.
