Serhii Zasiekin, Ph.D., is a professor of Applied Linguistics at Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University and Editor-in-Chief of the East European Journal of Psycholinguistics. He is the author, co-author, and editor of seven books and has published over 100 scholarly papers in cognitive linguistics, discourse analysis, psycholinguistics, and translation studies in international peer-reviewed journals such as Language Resources and Evaluation, Journal of Community Health, Journal of Psycholinguistic Research, Babel: International Journal of Translation, and Psycholinguistics. His research focuses on how language processes reflect trauma, ethics in translation, and bilingual discourse, particularly within the context of Ukraine. His current project, “Language of War and Trauma: Discourse of Bohdan Lepky and Today’s Ukrainians,” examines the psycholinguistic dimensions of language and trauma in times of conflict.
