Dayne Curry is the Country Director of Mercy Corps Afghanistan. Curry has worked full-time in Afghanistan since 2007 holding numerous leadership roles with International NGO’s as well as management positions in the private sector. Having previously been based in Kabul, Mazar-i-Sharif and Herat, he has managed projects across 12 Afghan provinces. Although he has experience across numerous sectors, Dayne has specific expertise implementing programs focused on food security, agriculture, economic recovery, and value chain development. Curry holds a Master’s Degree in International Service (MIS) from the American University in Washington, D.C., and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership (MOL) from the University of Northwestern – St. Paul in Minnesota.
