Ambassador Allan Rock

Ambassador Allan Rock is a Canadian lawyer, diplomat, and former politician who has served as Canada’s Minister of Justice, Minister of Health, and Ambassador to the United Nations. As Justice Minister, he led significant reforms in criminal law and human rights protections. At the UN, he was a key voice on humanitarian issues, peacekeeping, and the Responsibility to Protect doctrine. Rock has also served as President of the University of Ottawa and continues to engage in public policy, law, and human rights advocacy.
