Amal Nassar

Amal Nassar is an international criminal justice expert with extensive experience in working on addressing conflict-related crimes, including sexual and gender-based violence, and on access to justice and reparations at the domestic and international levels. She currently leads Global Rights Compliance’s Mobile Justice Team working on conflict-related sexual and gender-based crimes in Ukraine.

Amal is a rostered expert with Justice Rapid Response (JRR), a network of criminal justice professionals who can be deployed to investigate, analyse and report on international crimes and gross human rights violations. She has worked or consulted with various international and national organisations, including UN Women, the International Independent and Impartial Mechanism for Syria, the Global Survivors Fund, and FIDH.
