Join New Lines Institute for Strategy and Policy on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at its Washington, D.C., office for a panel discussion focused on assessing the role of the United States in opposing the authoritarian overreach of states perpetrating transnational repression. Following the publication of two landmark reports on transnational repression: “What the U.S. Can Do To Address Transnational Repression Within Its Borders” and “How the Abuse of Interpol Contributes to Transnational Repression,” we will sit down with author Dr. Ted Bromund, journalist Basma Mostafa and New Lines Non-Resident Senior Fellow Dr. Elise Anderson to discuss how the United States can better secure itself at home and lead the effort abroad in challenging transnational repression.
Food will be provided for in-person participants. Virtual participation is available.
