Kevin Hargis serves as an editor at New Lines Institute. He has more than three decades of experience as a journalist, writer, and editor. His professional background includes 20 years on copy desks at several daily newspapers, including the Austin American-Statesman. He has also been a writer and editor with Texas Co-op Power magazine, where he won national award for column writing. He worked for several years at the geopolitical intelligence firm Stratfor, where he served as a managing editor.
Hargis, who received a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin, lives just outside Austin, Texas.
