Leila Kalmbach

Leila Kalmbach is an Analysis Supervisor at The New Lines Institute. Before joining the institute, she spent 16 years as a self-employed writer and editor working with publishing companies, magazines, newspapers, businesses, nonprofits, and individuals on all stages of the publishing process. Previously, she worked as a proofreader of bills, resolutions, and other legislative documents for the Texas Legislative Council, and before that, she interned at The University of Texas Press.     

Kalmbach grew up in Austin, Texas, and earned a Bachelor of Arts from Reed College in Portland, Oregon. She currently lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
