Kevin Cowl
Senior Director, Development and External Relations
Kevin Cowl serves as the Senior Director of Development and Strategic Initiatives, where he leads the New Lines Institute’s external relations, including communications, legislative strategy and outreach, and public events as well as the integration and execution of ongoing and new initiatives between New Lines Institute and various institutions. In addition, he sets development priorities and proactively leads fundraising efforts for the entire enterprise, working closely with the president and leadership teams. He also develops and maintains strategic relationships with business and academic leaders, policymakers, and government agencies.
Cowl’s broad experience spans executive leadership, fundraising and development, operations and finance, communications, marketing, membership, and grassroots organizing and training. He has more than 25 years of senior executive service in multiple sectors. He lives in Maryland with his wife and children and a very large dog.
