Yasmin Faruki

Yasmin Faruki is a senior policy advisor at Mercy Corps, an international humanitarian NGO, where she leads the Afghanistan and Yemen portfolios. She previously served as Mercy Corps’ vetting specialist for the humanitarian response inside Syria. Prior to joining Mercy Corps, Yasmin was an associate at WestExec Advisors and worked at the Center for a New American Security, the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs, and UN Development Program in Jordan. She holds a master’s degree with distinction in Security Studies and bachelor’s degree in Regional Studies from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
