Hoar Habrelian is a lawyer specialising in international humanitarian and criminal law. She is a legal advisor at Global Rights Compliance with a Mobile Justice Team working on conflict-related sexual and gender-based crimes in Ukraine.
Previously, Hoar was a Visiting Professional at the Office of Public Counsel for Victims at the International Criminal Court, where she was involved in open collaboration with civil society representatives and performed research and analysis of ongoing cases. Hoar also worked at the Directorate General of International Law at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, where she was a permanent representative of the MFA in the Interdepartmental Commission for the Implementation of International Humanitarian Law in Ukraine.
She defended her PhD at the Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
