Ava Gilder

Ava Gilder, a student fellow at New Lines Institute for Strategy and Policy, earned a bachelor’s in Middle East Studies and Political Science from George Washington University. She studied abroad at Georgetown University in Qatar and the London School of Economics and Political Science.
She interned at Jordan’s U.S. Embassy, the U.N. Sustainable Development Solutions Network, and the Middle East Institute, focusing on topics such as U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East, women’s rights, humanitarian issues, and counterterrorism.
