He earned a Master’s degree in Social Sciences and Health at El Colegio de Sonora, and a PhD in Epidemiology at the University of Arizona. He is a social epidemiologist with experience in the analysis of distribution and socio-environmental determinants of diseases in the Sonora-Arizona region.
