Rachna Mehta is the Director of Communications at the New Lines Institute, where she oversees external communications and media engagement across our diverse set of portfolios. Prior to joining New Lines, Mehta led strategic communications for a wide range of USAID programs, focusing on impact storytelling and crosscutting global communications. She also spent several years consulting for the private sector, focusing on sustainability communications, policy, and project management.
Mehta holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs: Global Governance, Politics, and Security from the American University’s School of International Service and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Rochester.
