Micaiah Palmer is a Non-Resident Fellow at the New Lines Institute working on Positive Prevention and Localization projects under the Priority Sustainable Counterterrorism portfolio. Palmer is researching and mapping youth movements and civil society in Kenya.
Palmer formerly worked as a research assistant with the Fund for Peace and was a U.S. Fulbright Scholar in Ghana working issues related to state resilience and fragility; non-state actors; Youth, Peace and Security; and the intersections of climate change and conflict.
Palmer earned her master’s degree in global affairs with a concentration in International Peace Studies from the University of Notre Dame.
