Kayla McGill is a national and international security practitioner, analytical researcher, and Women, Peace and Security expert specializing in how gender, ideology, and power norms shape decision-making processes and policy outcomes. McGill has led policy development and implementation and fostered partnerships across government, nonprofit, and academic sectors, holding positions at the U.S. State Department’s Women In International Security, the WomanStats Project, and others. She earned her master’s in International Affairs with concentrations in Diplomacy, Intelligence, and WPS from The Bush School at Texas A&M, and her bachelor’s in Political Science with a minor in Civic Engagement from Brigham Young University.
