Research Intern, Special Initiatives
Gabriela Cipolla is an intern for Special Initiatives. She is originally from Bowling Green, Kentucky, and is a current Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy candidate at The Fletcher School. Her research focuses on child marriage, food security, and famine studies in eastern Africa, most notably South Sudan and Ethiopia. At Fletcher, Gabriela has worked with Save the Children, Denmark, and USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance.
Prior to graduate school, Gabriela taught eighth-grade English through Teach for America in Nashville, Tennessee, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Centre College.
