

Evan Mann
Research Intern, Special Initiatives
Evan Mann is a research intern for the Special Initiatives team at the New Lines Institute. He is a graduate student in the Democracy and Governance M.A. program at Georgetown University, and earned his B.A. from the University of California, San Diego, where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Political Science/International Relations and a minor in Human Rights.
He is an editor for Georgetown’s student-run journal Democracy and Society, where he has published works on Russian civil society, Brexit, and the relationship between corruption and democratic backsliding. His research interests include international human rights, international security, democratic backsliding, and electoral authoritarianism.
