Andrew Austin is an Associate Editor at the Newlines Institute.
His research focuses on Arab media and its relation to political involvement in the Middle East. Previously, Austin was a program manager at the Arab American Family Support Center. He has also served as a Talent Executive at Vettery and as an instructor at teach for America.
Austin graduated with an MA in Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies from Columbia University, and obtained his BA in Middle Eastern and Islamic studies and Economics from Hamilton College.
