Research Intern, Nonstate Actors program

Abdallah Salha joins the New Lines Institute Nonstate Actors program to assist in research on the Civil Society project. Originally from Gaza, Palestine, Abdallah has been involved in international programs to study human rights, conflict resolution, and development. This has shaped his perception of the world and commitment to a peaceful, and prosperous future for all.

Abdallah was selected to represent UNRWA Palestine refugee students to international organizations and other officials through a State Department program in 2013. Abdallah graduated from United World College Red Cross Nordic (UWC RCN) in Norway, after which he spent a year in Senegal with Global Citizen Year. His past experiences include diversity relationship management, facilitating short courses overseen by the European Commission, and research on think tanks and civil societies as part of the TTCSP MENA research team led by Tammy Palacios. Abdallah is currently studying economics and international relations.
