Hassan Hassan quoted in Rolling Stone’s article on the withdrawal of U.S. troops to the Kurds

NaG Director Hassan Hassan was quoted in an article about the withdrawal of U.S. military support to the Kurds:

“Turkey is planting the seeds of future civil strife between Arabs and Kurds,” says Hassan Hassan, director of the nonstate actors program at the Newlines Institute. He suspects that radical militias like Ahrar al-Sharqiya, the group that killed Khalaf, have been put forward as the “face” of the campaign to aggravate sectarian tensions. “It is a sinister agenda.”
